Rufaro Gwarada

Rufaro Gwarada has 15 years of experience working for gender justice, migrant rights, African-led solutions for Africans, and utilizing art and cultural expression as conduits for healing, liberation, and joy. She is a certified professional coach, has co-founded culture shift and philanthropic initiatives, and worked at international and domestic organizations that advance human rights, self-determination of African people, and civic engagement.

Rufaro is home in Zimbabwe, Oakland, and Sacramento, California. Home is also with Sangha, Afro-descended people, those who have journeyed in search of respite and a better life, and among creatives and those who are committed to the collective thriving of all peoples.

Leadership Coaching
